2011 has been a very busy year~ and 7 more States have been added through the year, and the 2nd National Armed Forces FreedomRide now has 29 States involved in this National Event set for Armed Forces Day May 21 2011. My Mission began with a personal vision of a Nation that would United together to Honor and in a Showing of Support for our Armed Forces, Veterans, MIA, POW, Troops and Family’s. This great visual that now spans from Maine to Oregon~ What began with one step has lead to many more that walked with the same Mission in their hearts and mind, and now has become a Team~ A Team that is made up of State Ride Coordinators, Volunteers, Veterans Groups, Organizations, MC’s, and RC’s, that have devoted countless time with determination and dedication, that now helps provide the opportunity for the people of their Region and their State to join this day of Honoring. I can hardly speak the expressions of words that are needed at times, when it comes to saying thanks to all that has made it possible for this vision to become a reality in our Nation as We Stand United on this day. Our Nation depends on our Military to secure our Freedom~ And our Military needs our Nations continuous of Support ~Our Troops need to know there is a Nation standing in Support of all, and awaiting with hope and prayers that all will come home soon~ Those Soldiers and are turning home need the helping hands of our Nation, and their Family’s are in need of housing, medical care, rehabilitation, and much more. By attending the Ride in your State~
You are not only helping in Honoring and Supporting ,but also helping Fund these needs~ Armed Forces Day is a day that Honor’s every segment and branch of our Military~ of the Past, Present and all those that still stand Serving our Country~ To every Brave Man and Woman that has ever Served our Nation and our Country~ WE STAND UNITED to HONOR and THANK YOU ~WE STAND AS A NATION KNOWING OUR FREEDOM IS NOT FREE~AND OUR SOLDIERS THAT FIGHT THESE BATTLES OF WAR ARE NEVER FORGOTTEN~IT’S NOT ABOUT SUPPORTING THESE BATTLES OF WAR~IT’S ABOUT SUPPORTING THOSE THAT HAVE FOUGHT THE BATTLES ~THAT WE STAND AS A NATION ~UNITED WE STAND TO HONOR AND SHOW OUR SUPPORT~ LEAVING NONE TO BE FORGOTTEN~

It all began with a personal vision, that can to me. Traveling life’s road, with eyes wide open,I began to see. Living for reasons that is meant to be. I look where change needs to be. Fighting for my Freedom many times it seemed, at different times, and different ways. Winning silent battles no one ever knew but me. Thinking of our Veterans, of the years past, the MIA, the POW, and our Troops that still stand in the boots that continue to fight the Battles of War, always knowing the cost it takes to keep us Free.Knowing that thousands have gave all, with no limit of sacrifice that they had chosen to give, only to complete the Battles, and to know of many to walk away never to know the tribute of Honor, Support is unjust Knowing that many silent tears have fallen to those boots, through the years, that no one else knows, but those that cry… lead me with the will to gather a Nation of people to help them see and know that they are never forgotten. I began my strive to gather a Nation of Riders willing to help bring others together by Riding Free, and Flying our Flags as a showing of Support for all on Armed Forces Day May 15 2010. I know that it would take a fair amount of time to form a National Ride, that would include our Nation of States. I first built a National Web site in 2009,and later an online recruiting process through a popular Bikers Social Network called BikerOrNot.com seeking Riders that were willing to volunteer as Coordinators in their Regional area of their States. The response was over whelming to say the least. Receiving hundreds of daily e-mails through both web sites, I had no doubt that the vision would come to be real. The State Team Coordinators included the States NM,NC,MD/DC,FL,GA/TN/AL/AZ,CA,NH,NV,SC,NY,CO,WI,AR,PA,OH,OR,KS,MN. Along with many States having multiply Rides in different regions of the States, and with many States traveling the distance to nearest neighboring State to join the Ride, if their State was not participating this year, made it difficult to give a accurate account of all States involved the 1st year . But the showing of Support spread far and wide, with Riders participation in various gatherings of the Sates as they Pledged, Honored and showed their Support to all on this same given day of May 15 2010. This visual was seen and heard during their Dedications, Ceremonials, and gathering points as many visited the Veterans Hospitals, Veterans Memorials, and Cemetery’s in Tribute and to Honor. A Nation of people made of Veterans Groups, Organizations, Club’s, RC’s. MC’s Supporters, and thousands that touch the closest to the heart, and stood beside, where the family’s of those we stood to Honor on this day. Some Rides grew to a magnitude that none anticipated, with some States having 300 to 450 Riders, and some having a lower number of 10 to 50 Riders left still a great trail of Showing of Support. Even with the disappointment of the lack of Support in some States in the 1st year, didn’t leave Coordinators with any lesser ambition, but rather and a greater sense of achievement, and accomplishment, and a greater strive for the next year. As National Coordinator, I am very proud to say it has been a grand experience working and corresponding of all State Team Coordinators, and very proud for their involvement, dedication, determination, through the planning, and completion. And very Proud to know that there is still a Nation that still stand to Honor and show their Support with an continuations of outreach with hope that more will join in this showing of Support that is so vital for our Veterans, and Troops to see and know. FreedomRide will be an Annual Ride on Armed Forces Day each year. State Coordinotrs are already working on the planning stages for the 2nd National FreedomRide May 21 2011. The next goal is to compile all data, pictures, and footage from all States in order to transfer to CD’s and assure that our Troops receive and witness the Support that those stood proudly to show. We ask that you recognize this day in your State, and stand to united as a Nation with Flags Flying as a showing of Support . Save this day to wave your Flag, and help us Honor,Support, and Salute our Armed Forces,Vererans of War,POW, MIA, our Troops and the family of those that still awaiting the return home from those that are still stand Serving for our Country’s Freedom, and our Nations Security .A visual showing of Support that is way passed due for those that have fought the Battles of War,and those that continue to Serve. These Brave Men & Women deserve to know that we are a Nation of people that stand in Freedom with Pride to Honor as we show our Support~
