May 21st will mark the 2nd Annual National Armed Forces Freedom Ride...
I am proud to report that I am making arrangements to have Michigan participate in this years Freedom Ride.
I am in the process of putting an event together....it'll be pretty simple this year because I have only 2 weeks to get all tied up...but I promise you it will be a fitting tribute to the fine men and women that have, or currently do ,serve our country in the Armed Forces.
Currently I am planning on staging the event from The Bridge Church in Flint MI, and we will ride to the
Vietnam Veterans Memorial at Bluebell Beach on Mott Lake near Flint, Michigan, for a dedication service...From there we will ride to Gaines , Michigan to participate in the Military Appreciation Day events being held there.
Check out the Michigan Freedom Ride link for more about times and the staging location.
Also please visit the National website to learn more about the origin and purpose of the National Freedom Ride...
So mark May 21st on your ride calendar , and plan on coming our to honor our Armed Forces.
Freedom is not Free!!!
Hope to see you there...
