Ok, I will throw this one to Buford. It has been many, many, many years since I have dealt with any form of Linux and even then it was very limited. I was using a bastardized version of Linux called Xenix. I have some software for some test equipment that can be used in Linux based or Solaris based environments. Buf, do you have Linux experience and would you be able to give me a crash course, refresher in Linux?

I answered this post twice, but it seems to disappear when I come back to it. What do you need to know about Linux. I have it, I use it, but it is not my main OS. I use either Mandriva or Ubuntu, but I also use some of the Live DVD distros that allow me to load it from DVD without messing with my windows setup.
Why did we do it, because we can do it better.
