A close member of my family, and a fellow biker by the name of Justin Swartz, lost his life in a tragic automobile accident last Friday. When he was 17 years old I left him take a solo ride on my Buell and he was hooked. He has been a Harley rider ever since. He was 25 years old when he died, a newlywed, and a really great person. He will be sadly missed by my family, his family, and most of all by his wife and his twin sister. RIP Justin Swartz. The world is a sadder place now that you are no longer here.

My heart and prayers go out for all of his family and friends. I am sure he will be missed but he will live on in their memories.

I would like to thank everyone for their condolences and prayers. This man had a lot of friends. At the funeral home last night their were over 500 people who stopped in and expressed their condolences. I was unable to make the funeral today, but I am told that the funeral procession was a sight to behold. This was to be first spring that we got to ride together because both of our schedules were full last year. This year I take all of those rides that I have been wanting to take over the past few years but have been too dam busy to take. I am going to start living by the saying "Live each and every day as if it were your last, because it may very well be."
Why did we do it, because we can do it better.

Buford, Your last post said it all. Each and everyone of us never know what life has in store for us. My Uncle gave me some advice on the way he lives his life. He said "I am here for a Good Time Not a Long Time" so live everyday as it might be your last. God Bless your Friend, he will be riding with you forever.
